Illustration for a kids brochure

Imaginative Figure Drawing

These are some sketches from my general, no reference, just a thin
sharpie pen, my sketch book, and my head. I still need to develop
my anatomy skill even further, I'm aiming for a realistic neoclassical
looking figures with more fluidity. I leave you guys with the drawings
for now, they'll do the rest of the talking, hopefully.

Lgemat (Sweet Dough)

A geometric translation of "Lgemat" which is an Kuwaiti type
of pastry that consist of fried dough glazed with melted sweet syrup.
For the colorful cups, instead of placing random colors,  decided to
use a primary color with its complimentary. Expect the row in the far
right where I employed purple due to the color of the dough.

Skulls: How fun :p !

5.5 x 8.5

5.5 x 8.5
11 x 14

Drew the first two on the air plane while heading back
home with my little sketch book. Its a really interesting
experience to draw in an squished environment where
you can barley move your arm to not accidentally hit
the guy who is sitting next to you.

Raphael Study

Made that during the summer where I should post it
earlier. I had to do this study by only using a ball point
pen which was so frustrating. Because I had to get a soft
gradation and transition between a various values but
I got through it by layering the ink.

Ocean: Redefined

One of the projects that I recently completed for one of my classes. Basically, a word was given to me by the professor and I had to create my own font and then incorporate symbols into the word "ocean". Then, design a poster to fit the quote in it. After that, I had to create multiple color schemes by using the standard color strategies which was my favorite part in the project.

I really wanted to go for a more complex design. I wanted the sea to be red rather than blue, I wanted to have a meaning, a strong concept behind this project but unfortunately due to the time restrains, I had to go for plan B which is whats below.
